IRIS WINS BEST OF BREED OVER
12 GSDs!
Iris is a beautiful combination of her mom and dad. She
has the very upbeat, happy and bubbly personality from her mom and beautiful
topline, head carriage and proportions from dad. She has the right amount
of arch of the back and not to steep or long of croup, very nice feet
with thick pads and her rear angulation is not too extreme.
Iris is just beginning her show career. At 8 months
old, she had her first UKC show. She did excellent!!! She won
Best Female (beating 5 females) in three shows, Reserve
Best Female in one show and Best of Winners
in one of the shows. She earned 95 points of the 100
points required to achieve her UKC Champion Title in just ONE WEEKEND.
Here are her winning ribbons!
Before this, she has competed in the UKC non-licensed Novice
Puppy Class and won Best Novice Puppy in Show three (3) times!!!! She
was in her first International All Breed Canine Association (IABCA) show
in Hutchinson, MN on May 19th. She did wonderful! She had 4 group placements.
She place in Puppy Group (2nd and 3rd) and Bred-By Exhibitor Puppy Group
(1st and 2nd). We were only able to attend the two out of the four shows
of the weekend.
At 10 months old she won Best of Winners in the first show
of the weekend and Champion of Champions in 2 shows with a Best of Breed
(Over her dad AND a Grand Champion that was #1 in UKC Top Ten for GSDs)
and a Group #1 placement. I was SO Proud of her!!!
At 13 months old, she won another Best of Breed over 12
dogs and 4 or 5 of them are Grand Champions. She won her 3rd and 4th Champion
Class win at that weekend of shows and is just one Champion Class win
from her Grand Show Champion status in the UKC.
At 17 months old, she won her last Champion Class win to
become a GRAND CHAMPION! She also won a Best of Breed and Group
3!
At 18 months, she won FOUR Best of Breed and Four
Best of Breed Bred-By Exhibitor and earned her UCICB Title with all V-1
ratings at the IABCA show in Hutchinson.
